HANALETA WILLIAMS

I completed year 12 at Catholic Regional College Sydenham Victoria. I have also completed certificate I, II, III, and IV in Retail. After 15 years in Retail, I decided to make a change.

I wanted a career that catered for my passion to help others, a career that would challenge me and allowed me to grow both as a person and skill wise. I was in the process of enrolling into a nursing course, and I come across an advertisement “Dental Assistant Trainee wanted”. After a little research into the Dental Industry, I felt that this is the career path I wanted to take.

Peter and Stella’s stories appealed to me, and Sunraysia Orthodontics and Dental is where I wanted to start my career. I love the culture they have established here. I feel very at home, and I can be myself.

My customer service experience from my time in Retail has been a benefit in my new career. My keenness to learn along with my work ethic and a great work environment have eased my transition into the Dental industry. I feel more confident now that I am where I’m meant to be.

I’m very outgoing, friendly and love to have a laugh. I love nothing better than spending time with my family and sport. I’m passionate about the community. So passionate my family and I decided to put an old fridge in front of our house and filled it with pantry food for anyone to help themselves.
