Your dentist will take moulds of your teeth and create custom-fitted trays specifically for the shape of your mouth, which you can then pick up along with a dental grade whitening gel. You will use this each day and keep in your mouth for a certain amount of time.

This method is usually used when patients suffer from discolouration or stains on the teeth. Although take-home bleaching kits are an efficient way to whiten the teeth, it important to understand what is causing the problem in the first place. Most stains and discolouration are caused by outside sources rather than the tooth itself. There can be a number of contributing factors such as tea, coffee, smoking or poor cleaning techniques. If we help you identify the causes you can better manage your teeth and prevent the problem from happening again in the future.  We will also be able to provide advice on other treatment options if bleaching is not the best option for you.
